Privacy Policy
Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how MOTIA AND GULAB LLC, an Illinois limited liability company doing business as Callivo Voice (“Callivo Voice,” “we,” “us”), collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use our website, our web app (app.callivovoice.shop), our Android app, and our phone and text messaging service (together, the “Service”).
Callivo Voice provides individuals with a dedicated US phone number for making and receiving calls and sending and receiving text messages. Accounts are set up by our team.
Information we collect
- Account information. Your email address and sign-in credentials, and the status of your account. Sign-in is handled by Google Firebase Authentication.
- Your phone number. The US phone number our team assigns to your account.
- Call records. For calls made or received through the Service: the phone numbers involved, whether the call was incoming or outgoing, the time, the duration, and the call status.
- Text message records. The messages you send and receive through the Service, the phone numbers involved, timestamps, delivery status, and whether a contact has opted out of messages (by replying STOP) or back in (by replying START).
- Contacts you save. Names and phone numbers you choose to add in the app.
- Device and session information. Session identifiers we use to manage logins (including a limit on how many devices can be signed in at once), and, if you allow notifications, a push-notification token used to deliver alerts such as incoming-call notifications.
- Support communications. If you email us, we keep the contents of your message and our reply.
How we use information
- To provide the Service: assign your number, connect your calls, and deliver your text messages.
- To show you your call history, conversations, and contacts in the app.
- To manage accounts, sign-ins, and sessions, and to send notifications you have allowed.
- To keep the Service secure and prevent abuse, including applying per-user sending limits and honoring text message opt-outs.
- To respond to your support requests.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not run advertising or analytics trackers on this website.
Where it is stored and who handles it
We rely on a small number of service providers to operate the Service:
- Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, and Cloud Messaging) stores account information, call and message records, contacts, and session data, and delivers push notifications.
- Telnyx is our telecommunications carrier. Your calls and text messages are routed through Telnyx’s network, so Telnyx processes the phone numbers, call details, and message content needed to connect them. Telnyx may keep its own records under its own policies.
- Cloud hosting providers run our website, web app, and servers.
These providers process information on our behalf to deliver the Service, and are subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
Mobile numbers and text messaging
Text messages are typed and sent by our customers, one at a time, from the number assigned to their account. Callivo Voice is not used for marketing, bulk, or automated messaging. Anyone who receives a text from a Callivo Voice number can reply STOP to opt out, START to opt back in, or HELP for help. We keep a record of opt-outs so that further messages are not sent to a number that has opted out.
We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or text messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Sharing
We share information only as follows:
- With the service providers described above, to operate the Service.
- When required by law, legal process, or a valid request from a public authority, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users, the public, or Callivo Voice.
We do not sell your personal information.
Retention
We keep account information for as long as your account is active. We keep call and text message records for as long as needed to provide the Service (for example, so you can see your call history and conversations), to keep the Service secure, and to meet our legal obligations. When you ask us to delete your account or information, we will do so unless we are required or permitted by law to keep it. Our carrier, Telnyx, may keep records of calls and messages carried on its network for the periods set by its own policies.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including restricting access to our databases to our own servers and authorized personnel. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights and choices
You may contact us to:
- ask what information we hold about you, and request a copy;
- correct information that is inaccurate;
- request deletion of your information or your account; or
- ask any question about how your information is handled.
We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law, and we will honor them. To stop receiving text messages from a Callivo Voice number, reply STOP to that number. Email us at admin@callivovoice.shop to make a request.
Children
The Service is intended for adults. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
